Rest In Peace Tianna Diamelle Ricks

September 21, 2006-September 8, 2013
This young child was shot in the shoulder in a drive by while attending a family going-away party.  Keandre Johnson, 21, a self-described gang member, was her murderer. Tianna knew her father had also gotten shot, (the bullet went through her and enter her dads' leg) her last words was, "Is my daddy ok?".  This is a very sad tragedy. I felt so sad for the family when I seen this story on the news/Facebook. I could not imaging going through anything like this. Today would of been her birthday.

I almost posted a picture of her killer on this page. I changed my mind.  I rather post pictures of two rappers that helped with her funeral. They both donated over $20,000 for her funeral. That was a very admirable act of kindness from the both of them.

Rest In Peace
Trayvon Martin

It is extremely sad how this child had to die.  His death could of easily  been preventable. Here is proof:  February 26, 2012 - George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch captain in Sanford, Florida, calls 911 to report "a suspicious person" in the neighborhood. He is instructed not to get out of his SUV or approach the person. Zimmerman disregards the instructions. Moments later, neighbors report hearing gunfire. Zimmerman admits that he shot Martin, claimed that it was in self-defense. In a police report, Officer Timothy Smith writes that Zimmerman bled from the nose and back of the head.

July 13, 2013 - The all woman jury finds George Zimmerman not guilty. They had three choices: to find Zimmerman guilty of second-degree murder; to find him guilty of the lesser charge of manslaughter; or to find him not guilty. The jurors thought this over for more than 16 hours total, including 13 on Saturday alone. Are you serious?? This man just got away with murder. He is clearly happy about it.

We all are aware of the history of events that has happened to African-Americans as a race.  It is sad that we are in the need to stress the fact that black is beautiful to some of our young children until this day. Some African-American children are convinced that they are not beautiful just because they have dark skin, have nappy (thick course) hair or just because they are not Caucasian. I love my Caucasian brothers and sisters, however, black is beautiful, it always was!  Just because you say that rose is dirty and people stepped on it, and said it was ugly, for hundreds of years, does not make the rose species ugly.  Roses are beautiful, and always been since they were created.

Would you be successful in interracial adoption??

Because being a successful parent in a transracial adoption is complicated, parents are encouraged to take online classes. The Hague treaty, an agreement on best practices for international adoptions, requires some courses on culture, race and ethnicity for international adoptions.

Embracing black culture means more than "fun, food and festivities, or hanging up pictures of Martin Luther King," says Darron Smith. The unfortunate reality is that black male children, for example, need to be taught by black adults to put their hands on the steering wheel if they're pulled over. That's not a common white experience. http://www.deseretnews.com/article/700006219/Addressing

Rest In Peace

Martin Richards 2008-2013

The youngest to die from the Boston Marathon bombing. He died watching his father make it to the finish line.

Just because a child does not understand, doesn't stop the power of Jesus' blood. Only rejecting the blood stop its power, and babies haven't done that. So, let us rejoice; those poor little children dying before the age of accountability through the years are safe in God's hands, God says that they are, "MY CHILDREN!"
